KEARNEY, MO – Oct. 5, 2018 – This weekend’s NHRA race is yet another important run on a national stage for Race Star’s new Pro-Forged series wheels. Running on Jason Line’s Pro Stock car since the US Nationals in Indianapolis, last weekend’s Midwest Nationals served as a highlight when Line achieved the event category’s top speed at 212.79 mph in qualifying session #3.
Line’s KB Racing Summit Racing Equipment Chevrolet Camaro is outfitted with Race Star’s new Pro-Forged 16”x16” double bead lock wheels and 15”x3.5” spindle mount wheels. Always pushing for innovation in design and performance, the lightweight Pro-Forged wheel with its one-piece configuration marks another important advancement for Race Star Wheels.
“We are proud of the performance the wheel is exhibiting on Jason’s car,” said L.B. Davis, owner of Race Star Wheels. “Like Jason, strong miles per hour numbers are exciting, but we will not be satisfied until the car sits in the winner’s circle again.”
While not available for delivery until December, the wheel continues to make impressions around the race track. As Davis continues to observe the performance of his new wheels at race time, Line’s continuing feedback on the wheels has proved invaluable.
