NHRA JEGS Super Quick Series Double Header Begins Season At Gateway Motorsports Park

A tradition for some time now, the 31st anniversary NHRA JEGS Super Quick Series will kick off at Gateway Motorsports Park in Madison, IL this weekend April 6th and 7th. The double header event will feature a JEGS Super Quick Wally winner on Saturday and again on Sunday. Brand new for this season, participants will be fighting over various gift certificates given out at each event along with the #1 qualifier receiving $100 and a steakhouse gift card courtesy of Firecracker Performance.

Last year in April, Lester Adkins took the first win of the year over eventual series champion Jeremiah Hall. Then the make-up Gateway #2 event took place in August where Jeremiah Hall conquered revenge picking up the win over second place season finisher Dean McIlvain.

Don’t forget, the qualifying points earned at each of the six JEGS Super Quick Series events leading up to the Firecracker Performance Quick Shootout will determine the eight-car field contested at the Fall Classic NHRA National Open at Lucas Oil Raceway in Brownsburg, IN from October 12-13.

On site photography will also be available this weekend by Alex Owens. Check out photos or contact Alex though his website anytime at alkeyalexphotos.weebly.com.
