With attention turning to the return to racing in just over 30 days for the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season, Kalitta Motorsports is proud to announce they will once again be representing a full complement of national and global corporations on their three race cars. Over a dozen companies will be utilizing the multi-time world championship organization to promote their products, host their guests in VIP at-track accommodations and garner media attention through FOX national broadcasts, public relations and social media exposure.
“Last season was one of the toughest for everyone involved in business or sponsorship fulfillment,” said Chad Head, Kalitta Motorsports general manager. “Thankfully we had Connie Kalitta and the support of Kalitta Air. Connie is an amazing leader who kept our teams together and working all season. I am very proud of our Kalitta Motorsports marketing team and how they pivoted to create opportunities for our drivers and crew chiefs to interact with our sponsors’ employees and their customers.”

Every week we tried to connect with our partners and it paid off with amazing sponsor retention heading in to the 2021 season. I also have to thank everyone at Kalitta Motorsports for stepping up to be available and engaging last season,” added Head.
Kalitta Motorsports would not be entering their sixth decade of championship level competition without the support from Kalitta Air and the direction from racing icon Connie Kalitta. For the twentieth season Doug Kalitta will be flying the familiar red and white logo of Mac Tools on his Top Fuel Dragster while J.R. Todd and Shawn Langdon will once again race a Funny Car and Top Fuel dragster, respectively, emblazoned with the yellow and red of fourteen year sponsor DHL. Toyota and TRD will again be supporting Kalitta Motorsports for the fourteenth season with support vehicles and research and development assets at the track.
At the beginning of 2020 Mobil 1, NGK Spark Plugs, Fifth Third Bank, MAHLE, NiTeo Products, RevChem Composites and Sioux City Trailers all joined the Kalitta team and enjoyed the exposure of multiple race wins, a championship chase in Top Fuel and media exposure throughout the season. All seven sponsors will be back in 2021 joining returning multi-year sponsors SealMaster (seven seasons), Team Ace, Autodesk, Darton Sleeves and Mechanix Wear. As the season was winding down Kalitta Motorsports also added premier sponsors IDT and Outer Circle as well as Ferguson Facilities Supply, as a hospitality partner in 2021.
Kalitta Motorsports continues to build one of the most diverse and successful business to business marketing models in motorsports. As the team looks ahead to 2021 they will continue to use technology to stay connected to their corporate partners both at-track and between NHRA national events.
